AVAILABLE THE NEW IME 4.1 WINDOWS VERSION

  • The IME polish language version has been included.
    (My gratitude to Piotr Pachól (WODGiK Katowice) for the translation and his valuable comments to improve the application).
  • Some orthographical mistakes have been corrected.
  • The external XML validation error has been corrected (this error was identified by Ian Thomas (GeoSciSoft, Perth-Australia) and was reported to the users registered during the IME download)

Four steps to Geographic Information Metadata Creation:

1) Profile Definition (metadata subset, selected from the set referenced by the ISO19115 standard, that will allow us to cover the geographic information associated with our data).

2) Metadata Edition according to the data type defined by ISO19115 standard .

3) XML file generation according to the ISO19139 schema file.

4) HTML generation to facilitate the data visualization. An XSLT Transformation is required to make the XML to HTML conversion.
